What this unlocks
Connect Microsoft Clarity and Quri reads your behavioral insight metrics — traffic, scroll depth, engagement time, and frustration signals like rage and dead clicks — so it can flag when users start struggling on a page, without you scrubbing through session recordings.
Connect it in Quri
- Open /app/connect in Quri and choose Microsoft Clarity from the list of sources.
- Paste the Clarity Data Export API token you generated in the provider steps below into the connect form.
- Save the connection so Quri can call the Clarity export API for your project.
- Wait for the first sync — your Clarity insight metrics appear in Quri once it completes.
Get your credentials
- Sign in to Microsoft Clarity at clarity.microsoft.com and open the project you want Quri to read. You must be a project admin — only admins can manage API tokens.
- Go to Settings → Data Export → Generate new API token.
- Give the token a descriptive name (4–32 characters, letters, numbers, and . - _ only, no spaces), then create it.
- Copy the token immediately and keep it safe — Clarity shows it once. You paste it into Quri at /app/connect.
Access Quri reads with
- Read-only access to your Clarity project's dashboard insights via the Data Export API. Quri never changes anything in Clarity.
- The token is scoped to the one Clarity project it was generated in. Clarity caps the Data Export API at 10 requests per project per day and returns only the last 1–3 days, so Quri reads on a deliberate cadence rather than continuously.
Troubleshooting
- Quri rejects my Clarity token or returns Unauthorized.
- The token may be mistyped, expired, or revoked. Generate a fresh one in Clarity under Settings → Data Export → Generate new API token, copy it in full, and paste it again at /app/connect. Note that removing a teammate's access does not rotate tokens, so replace any token that was exposed.
- My Clarity metrics in Quri only cover the last couple of days.
- That is the Clarity export API itself — it returns at most the previous 1 to 3 days and allows 10 requests per project per day. Quri shows what the API will hand over; there is no way to pull older history through this connection.
- I cannot find the Generate new API token option in Clarity.
- That option is admin-only and lives under Settings → Data Export. If you do not see it, ask a project admin to either generate the token for you or grant you admin on the Clarity project.
