Source auto-connect

Last updated 2026-06-14

Definition

Source auto-connect lets you wire up a data source as part of, or right after, signing in. Instead of leaving a fresh account staring at an empty screen, Quri guides you to connect a source early so it has metrics to read from day one. You go from sign-in to a connected, working account in one continuous flow.

How to do this in Quri

  1. Finish signing in at /login or /signup.
  2. Follow Quri’s prompt to connect your first data source.
  3. Authorize the source so Quri can read its metrics.
  4. Manage or add more connections later from /app/settings.

Frequently asked

Do I have to connect a source right after signing up?
Auto-connect makes it the easy next step so your account is useful immediately, but you can also add sources later from /app/settings. The flow is there to save setup time, not to block you.
How is connecting a source kept secure?
You authorize each source explicitly, and Quri reads only the metrics it needs. Connections are managed per workspace, so a source you connect is scoped to where you work.
