Ads automation tactics

Last updated 2026-06-14

Definition

Ads automation tactics are opt-in rules that turn a signal into a recommended action — for example, when a campaign clears a return target, propose scaling it. You choose which tactics to switch on. They surface suggestions, not silent changes, so the writes they propose still pass through Quri’s prepare-then-confirm guard.

How to do this in Quri

  1. Open /app/ads/automations to see the available tactics.
  2. Switch on the rules you want; everything stays off until you opt in.
  3. When a tactic’s condition is met, Quri surfaces the action it recommends.
  4. Confirm the proposed change through its guard, or leave it untouched.

Frequently asked

Do tactics change my ads automatically?
No. A tactic translates a signal into a recommended action. Any budget or pause change it proposes still needs your explicit confirmation before it runs.
Are tactics on by default?
No. Every tactic is opt-in. Nothing fires until you switch it on in /app/ads/automations, so you stay in control of what Quri suggests.
