Competitor Ad Vision Tagging

Last updated 2026-06-28

Definition

Competitor ad vision tagging looks at the actual creative image behind each of a rival's Meta ads, not just the caption. Quri labels every unique creative by format — founder, podcast, UGC, influencer, static — and reads its theme, hook, on-screen text, and persona, so you see how they really sell.

How to do this in Quri

  1. Open the Competitors surface in Quri and select a tracked rival.
  2. Let the warm scan recover each ad’s creative image from its public Ad Library snapshot.
  3. Read the Creative Wall: every unique creative carries format, theme, and hook chips.
  4. Filter the wall by format to compare how many founder vs UGC vs static ads they run.
  5. Check the format-mix bar to see which creative style they lean on hardest.

Frequently asked

Does this read the video, or just a thumbnail?
It tags the recovered creative image (the snapshot’s cover frame). Frame-by-frame video tagging is a later phase; today the cover already reveals format, persona, and on-screen text.
What if a creative’s image can’t be recovered?
That creative stays untagged and counts toward an honest coverage gap — Quri never invents a tag it could not see.
