Dimension switcher

Last updated 2026-06-14

Definition

The dimension switcher lets you change how a metric is broken down on the fly — country one moment, device the next, then campaign — without leaving the view or rebuilding a report. You follow a number wherever your question leads, asking "where", then "on what", then "from which campaign" against the same metric and window.

How to do this in Quri

  1. Open /app/segments and choose the metric you want to explore.
  2. Pick a starting dimension, such as country, to see the first breakdown.
  3. Use the dimension switcher to flip to device, campaign, or another cut live.
  4. Keep switching dimensions to chase the question without rebuilding the view.

Frequently asked

Can I switch dimensions without losing my place?
Yes. The metric and time window stay put while you change the breakdown, so flipping from country to device to campaign reads as one continuous investigation, not three separate reports.
Which dimensions can I switch between?
The ones your connected sources and workspace config expose — typically geography, device, and campaign. Set the defaults a workspace tracks in its breakdown config so the switcher offers the cuts you use.
