Custom segment labels

Last updated 2026-06-14

Definition

Custom segment labels let you name and save the groupings that matter to your business — "tier-1 metros", "trial cohort", "high-intent regions" — instead of re-deriving them every time. Once saved per workspace, a label is reusable across views, so the team reads the same named segments and stops arguing over what each slice actually contains.

How to do this in Quri

  1. Open /app/segments and build the grouping you want from a breakdown.
  2. Give it a clear name that the whole team will recognise.
  3. Save the label so it persists in this workspace for reuse.
  4. Apply the saved label in other views instead of rebuilding the grouping.

Frequently asked

Are my custom labels shared across the workspace?
Yes. A saved label lives at the workspace level, so everyone reads the same named segments and the definitions stay consistent rather than living in one person’s head.
Can I reuse a label across different metrics?
Yes. Once a grouping is named and saved, you apply it wherever that segmentation makes sense, so the same cohort reads the same way across the metrics you track.
