Landing attribution capture

Definition
Landing attribution capture records where a visitor came from the moment they arrive — the source, medium, and campaign on their first touch. Quri stamps that onto their profile so weeks later, when they buy, you still know which ad or post started it. First-touch credit survives even after the UTMs disappear.
How to do this in Quri
- Install the Quri Tag on your landing pages so arrivals are captured.
- Tag your ad and campaign links with UTM parameters as usual.
- Quri reads the source, medium, and campaign on first touch and stores them.
- Open a person in /app/atlas/users to see the first-touch source on their profile.
Frequently asked
- Why capture attribution at landing instead of at purchase?
- Because the UTMs that name the campaign live on the landing URL and vanish as the visitor browses. Capturing first touch on arrival keeps that credit attached to the person through to purchase.
- Does this replace my ad platform’s attribution?
- No. Ad platforms count conversions their own way. Quri keeps a first-touch record on the person so you can see the full journey, not just the platform’s last-click view.
