User dropoff detection

Definition
User dropoff detection finds the stage where people quit your journey. Quri Atlas counts how many users reach each step — landed, viewed, signed up, purchased — and flags the gaps where the most fall away. Instead of suspecting checkout is leaky, you see the exact stage and how many you lost there.
How to do this in Quri
- Connect your sources so Atlas can see each stage of the journey.
- Open /app/atlas/funnel to view how many users reach every step.
- Read the flagged stage where the largest share of users drops off.
- Turn on alerts so Quri pings you when a stage’s dropoff jumps from its baseline.
Frequently asked
- How is dropoff detection different from a normal funnel chart?
- A chart shows the counts; dropoff detection names the problem. Quri points at the stage losing the most people and can alert you when that loss worsens, so you act instead of squinting at bars.
- Can Quri tell me why people dropped off, not just where?
- Quri shows where and how many. To see why, jump from the stage into the matching session recordings and watch what those users actually did before leaving.
