Email engagement (open, click and click-to-open rates)

Definition
Email engagement is how recipients interact with the alert and digest emails Quri sends: the open rate, the click rate, and the click-to-open rate, plus the daypart your sends land best. Quri measures it from a privacy-aware tracking pixel and link wrapping on your own sends, so you learn what actually gets read.
How to do this in Quri
- Turn on open/click tracking for your workspace so Quri can add the pixel and wrap links on outbound digests.
- Open Comms then Health to see your Engagement card with the live open, click, and click-to-open rates.
- Read the send-time tip to find the daypart your audience opens most, and lean your sends toward it.
- Ask the assistant "how is my email engagement?" to get the same rates in chat.
Frequently asked
- How is engagement different from deliverability?
- Deliverability is whether the email reached the inbox — bounces, complaints, suppression. Engagement is what happened after it arrived — whether people opened it and clicked. You need good deliverability first, then engagement tells you if the content is landing.
- Does Quri see who opened my email?
- No. Tracking records aggregate counts only — total opens and clicks per send window — never which recipient opened or clicked. No recipient address crosses into the engagement report.
- Why is my Engagement card not showing?
- The card appears only when open/click tracking is enabled and the cron has computed at least one window. With tracking off, Quri shows deliverability health alone rather than inventing engagement numbers.
