Watched terms

Definition

Watched terms are the names you tell Quri to keep an eye on across the social web — your brand, your competitors, and the topics in your category. Quri tracks mentions of each one and reads the mood behind them, so the background social watch knows what to listen for and which buzz is worth pinging you about.

How to do this in Quri

  1. Open your social-listening settings and turn the watch on.
  2. Add your own brand names, then group each competitor under its own label.
  3. List the category topics you also want to follow, like “ai analytics”.
  4. Save; Quri starts tracking those terms and alerts you when the chatter or mood shifts.

Frequently asked

How many terms can I watch?
It depends on your plan — higher tiers track more brands, competitors, and topics. If a save would push you over your plan’s limit, Quri tells you the cap and what you asked for so you can trim the list or upgrade.
Can I change my watched terms later?
Yes, any time. Editing them shows you the current list and your proposed change first, then applies only when you confirm — so a chat assistant never silently rewires what you track.
Do watched terms turn alerts on by themselves?
Only when the watch is enabled. The terms define what to listen for; the enable switch decides whether the background watch actually runs, so you can set everything up and flip it on when you are ready.
